# How Much Work Experience Should a House manger have?

There is no specific amount of experience that is required for a sober living house manager. However, it is generally recommended that a sober living house manager have experience in the field of addiction recovery, either as a former addict in recovery themselves, or as a professional with training and experience in the field.

This can help the house manager to provide more effective support and guidance to residents, and to create a supportive and understanding environment for recovery.
