Cedar Rise Ordinary Pet Rules 1. Ordinary Pet Approval Requirements 2. Resident submits a written request before the animal enters the residence. 3. Resident provides a current photograph and basic description of the animal. 4. Resident provides proof of current rabies vaccination and other legally required vaccinations/licensing, when applicable. 5. Animal is housebroken or appropriately contained. 6. Animal is free of fleas, ticks, and communicable infestation. 7. Resident demonstrates ability to provide food, veterinary care, grooming, cleanup, and supervision. 8. Resident agrees to prevent noise, odor, damage, intimidation, interference with recovery activities, or disruption of other residents. 9. Resident identifies an emergency backup caretaker who does not live in the residence, when reasonably feasible. -One domestic cat per resident, subject to written approval. -One domestic dog per resident, up to 25 pounds at full adult weight, subject to written approval. -A small aquarium of non-dangerous fish, not exceeding 5 gallons, subject to written approval. -No resident may keep more than one approved ordinary pet unless Cedar Rise gives specific written approval. Important: The 25-pound limit and species limits above are Cedar Rise rules for ordinary pets. They are not NARR requirements and are not automatically applied to a qualifying service or assistance animal.
