What to know about the listings on Connect, and about using this site to search for a home.

Last updated October 14, 2026

If you need help right now

Connect is a sober living locator. It cannot respond to an emergency.

  • In immediate danger, or facing a medical emergency or overdose: call 911.
  • In crisis or thinking about suicide: call or text 988, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, at any hour.
  • Looking for treatment or support: SAMHSA's National Helpline is free, confidential and open 24 hours a day at 1-800-662-HELP (4357).

About the listings

Connect is run by Sobriety Hub LLC, which makes software that sober living operators use to manage their homes. Each listing is written and published by the organization that operates the home. How Connect works explains this in detail.

  • Sobriety Hub does not own, operate, manage, license, certify or inspect the homes listed here. It may review a new organization's account before that organization can publish, but it does not check an operator's description, photos, pricing or claims.
  • A listing is not a recommendation or an endorsement. Appearing on Connect means only that an organization uses Sobriety Hub and has chosen to publish a home.
  • Any arrangement you make with a home is between you and its operator. Sobriety Hub is not a party to it.
  • Rules for recovery housing differ from state to state. Before you commit to a home, ask whether it is licensed or certified, visit if you can, and get its costs and house rules in writing.

Not medical or clinical advice

Nothing on Connect is medical, clinical, psychological or legal advice. Sober living homes provide housing and peer support. They are not, in general, treatment providers, and a listing describing a home as friendly to medication-assisted treatment or to a particular recovery pathway describes the home's policy, not a service it delivers.

Decisions about treatment, medication and where it is safe for you to live are ones to make with a qualified professional who knows your situation.

Accuracy and availability

The information here comes from operators and can be incomplete, out of date or wrong.

  • Availability changes constantly. An open bed shown here may be taken by the time you call, and a home that shows none may have one. Confirm with the home.
  • Pricing is whatever the operator has written. It may not include deposits, fees or other costs, and it may have changed.
  • Outcomes are calculated from each operator's own records and are not independently audited. They describe past residents of that organization. They are not a prediction or a promise about anyone's recovery.
  • Locations on the map are approximate by design, moved by up to about half a mile to protect residents' privacy.

Connect is provided as it is, for general information. To the extent the law allows, Sobriety Hub is not responsible for decisions made on the basis of a listing, or for the acts or omissions of any operator or home.

Your privacy

You do not need an account to use Connect, and it never asks for your name or contact details. Sobriety Hub's Privacy Notice applies to all of sobrietyhub.com, Connect included. The points below are specific to Connect.

  • No ads. Connect does not show ads.
  • Operators see totals, not visitors. We count how often each listing is viewed so its operator can see the interest in their homes, but operators are never told who looked. We do not sell information about visitors.
  • Searches are used to answer them. What you search for, the filters you choose and the part of the map you are viewing are sent to our servers to find matching homes. They are not linked to your name or to an account.
  • Your location is approximate unless you share it. Connect may estimate your general area, roughly your city, from your internet connection so it can show nearby homes first. It uses a more precise location only if you choose “Near me” or “Use my location” and allow it, and even then it rounds it on your device, so your exact position is never sent to us.
  • Some settings stay on your device. Your area, the homes you are comparing and your light or dark preference are remembered in your browser. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes them.

When you apply to a home

Selecting Apply opens the operator's application form, which is a separate part of Sobriety Hub's software and is not covered by this page. What you enter there is sent to the organization that runs the home, which decides how it is used. Ask the operator about its privacy practices before sharing anything sensitive. If you follow a link to an operator's own website, that site's policies apply.
