Dutton House

Dutton House is a men's sober living residence in the North Loop / Hyde Park area of Austin, Texas, serving working professional men committed to long-term recovery. Established in 2017 and under new ownership as of 2026, it is a professionally managed, staffed residence rather than a peer-run home. A live-in house manager with over 20 years of experience runs day-to-day operations, including weekly drug testing, check-ins, and curfew. New residents complete 90 meetings in 90 days and log attendance, mood, and check-in reflections in Sobriety Hub, the resident management software the house uses. The house is a spacious two-story home capped at 11 men, with never more than two per bedroom, a large kitchen, four refrigerators, and two living rooms. Curfew is 10pm on weeknights and 12am on weekends, and beds are made every morning. Applicants are interviewed and screened, including a search of familywatchdog.us; no registered sex offenders. Men only, 18 and older, with employment or a clear path to it expected. Dutton House provides housing, peer support, and recovery coaching; it is not a licensed treatment facility and does not provide clinical or medical services.
